Vento 250
Hey folks, new poster to the site. Have been following for a while, trying to decide on a bike. Ordered 2 Vento 250s from Motobuy for $1399. Ea delivered to my door. Advertised as street legal. What showed up were two Hawks with stickers on the rear fender that says "off road use only". Guess I'll have to do the DMV dance here in Colorado. Love the site, and info or problems I encounter I will post.

Oh crap! I forgot where, but we were just discussing how to make Hawks legal in Colorado. I guess it has something to do with going through the process of making them out to be custom homemade bikes or something along those lines.

I don't think we ever saw an actual form, but that looks like other states' conversion form. Now that I think about it, the member might have been writing about another form in the past discussion; something about building a custom bike (I am guessing like a chopper from scratch) and getting it titled. This form is specifically for dirt-bike conversion, so makes more sense.
