long case engine in short case frame? 139qmb 50cc

Will it work? My engine has blown but have found a cheap long case engine, just want to know if it will fit?

its going to take some work to make it work , you need to make sure the brackets line up . the spacing is the same. It could be more work than it is worth .

I think the most imported part would be the motor mounts. The rear shock can be adapted. Also make sure your rear wheel fits. Then you also may need longer brake linkages. This is if it fits under the bodywork.

Thanks guys. It worked. The only difference between the 2 was one inch.
So the wheel was 1 inch further back.
Everything fitted fine.
