how well will a lf200gy5 handle #290
hi all,
im looking into a lf200gy5 but am a bit concerned about my 6' frame and 290 pounds... about how well will these lil things handle the weight? just lookin to putt-putt around the boonies and trails here, nothing radical... not even highway travel. thanks in advance FreightTrain |

Well, I don't think you'll be riding 2 up, but as long as you take it easy should be fine. I weigh 230-240 and every thing is fine. I have bottomed out the suspension on speed bumps once or twice and I bottomed out the front forks in an emergency stop once.
I can keep up or even out accelerate most cars from a stop light. Unless they are trying to keep me from passing them. The stock breaks aren't all that great, so that is my biggest worry with my weight. I rode over 200 miles last week end and my knees got a little stiff but I just scooted my but further back on the seat and leaned forward a bit. |

I think my Lifan uses a car spring on the rear mono so in that regard you should do ok. I'm 6'3" ~200lbs.
