Some miscellaneous woodworking gear from TEMU. I never ordered from them before but I needed some hand sanders that can take the circular orbital sandpaper pads and turn them into hand sanders. Plus some painters triangles. Then a just for giggles trial of a line marking straight edge tool to scribe lines down boards. It will lock at different angles with built in detents or free set angles and lock with the knurl knob.

Crying

Sadly, this week we had to buy cremation services for our old dog, Winston... he was almost 17, and has had declining health for the past few years, including a series of mini strokes that took most of his mobility...he passed over the rainbow bridge peacefully in his sleep sunday morning... He was the bestest good boy you could ever wish for, and will be missed....

This is one of the last good photos i have of his lazy butt LOL he started declining after this...

Sorry for the loss bogieboy. It's our job to spoil the heck out of them and make sure they're well-kept and well-loved. Obviously, 17 years, you did all that quite well.

More lights for the house on Amazon. I'm in the process of converting everything to LED. Must fight PG&E somehow. It's a sad thing when you go to their website and the first big splash on the home page is "Need help paying your bill?" That's their way of saying "Yes, we're way too expensive for the product we offer."

I did the same thing with the LEDS. In October of 2022 i replace my HVAC system with this high efficient Heat pump. This is not your ordinary heat pump. This unit will still heat down to -22 out side without a backup heating element. My electric consumption for the year was cut in half. My house has never been this comfortable both in the winter and summer. It's basically a mini split with a air handle design to replace existing split units. Best move i ever made. Best part is that i was able to install it myself. https://hvacdirect.com/aciq-3-ton-16...ahb-84668.html

This followed me home today.

It's a 1935 or 1936 Craftsman Metalcraft 910 lathe made by Atlas. I've wanted a small lathe since I first laid my hands on one of Wilmot High Schools' South Bend lathes in my freshman metal shop class 54 years ago.

Now there's a cool find. I have one of its grandchildren from the early 1970's. Father-in-law bought it from Sears.

I bought about $120 worth of plywood, etc. to fix a subfloor that was water damaged last year. I also bought a couple batteries for my Ryobi tools and a Ryobi blower and string trimmer; the batteries and tool I got cheap from Allsurplus.com
