Was bored, wrote program to calculate CC or CI of an engine.
Language: Python
What is needed on Unix, Linux or Mac: Nothing, Python is installed by default on these operating systems as a system programming language of choice. What is needed on Windows: You need to install Python manually first if not already installed by you previously on your Windows computer. Link: https://www.python.org/ How to use: 1. Go to the website of the motorcycle you are interested in. 2. Look for the "bore" and "stroke" specifications of the engine. This example is for the Templar X 250 motorcycle. TemplarSpecifications.jpg 3. Run the Python program attached to this post (after unzipping it) From the command prompt in Windows, or if you have set it up double click the icon for the program to run it. prompt.png 4. Enter the Bore and Stroke numbers and the number of cylinders in the engine of the motorcycle you are wanting the answers for. dataentered.png Most listings for bore and stroke are in millimeters so I have set the default unit to mm but you can also change the Unit to either centimeters or inches if the bore and stroke just so happen to be listed in those values. 5. Click the Calculate button and get your answers. answers.png Enjoy!
