Green sticker in CA
So my 2006 200cc Chongqing (viva) has a green sticker. Am I going to be able to get this plated? It has a sticker that says it's epa certified as an ohv in all 50 states. Does that mean it can never be street legal? If all I need is a CARB sticker, can I just go get an emissions test?

Welcome to the forum. As I understand it few Chinabikes are street legal in the PRK. Q Link being a notable exception.

Thank you! I've been lurking for a while and finally got the courage to make an account. I thought as such. I just don't really want to take off work to go to the DMV just to wait in line then be told it can't be registered.

I might be wrong. 2LZ and other Kalifornians may know better, but I don't think it will get a plate.

Welcome!
Like Doc says, others here will know the answer. We'd love to see pics of your bike. ![]()

Haha alright. I'll bump with a couple pics. I got both of these for 825$. The red one has an electrical problem though and isn't running yet. Both under 100 miles when I bought them though.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm gonna go grab a picture of the emissions label too. |

Those are good bikes and the price sure was right.
![]() If they can't be street legal in Kalifornia I'd do what 2LZ did and stip off the street harware. Less weight and less to break. He posted a great thread on the topic recently.

Good score! Is that a faux toolbox on the left side of the blue bike, disguised as a muffler?
Have you tried troubleshooting the red bike yet?

My vote is to tear down and rebuild the entire bike. Then add a big bore kit. Then a turbo.

Not exactly, but a little creative plumbing can fix that.
![]() What is the exact symptom?
