This technique worked very well. Ice pick is one option. Heat tip on a stove element to bend angle if desired.

Re-grease torque driver (http://www.zumaforums.net/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=17831) while clutch is disassembled. Walmart Super Tech grease (http://www.walmart.com/ip/Super-Tech-Multi-Duty-Grease-1-lb/16795246) works fine.

Placing a loop of 5/32" Teflon valve packing (hardware store plumbing department) in the spring base may ease the twisting movements.
