Got the scoot out of the garage. Put her on the sidestand and started her up. Turned around to close the garage door and, "Clump!" That awful sound as the scooter fell over when the sidestand let go....

How about a throttle cable or an 'auspicous' bar pad? On a serious note, I would consider riding the cali though AZ section of the ride. Perhaps a dog-leg north to catch the Vegas riders then down...

Just Got a New Wildfire 300!

Just brought home my wife's Wildfire 300 scoot. Pretty nice! Picked it up from the dealer in town. Has a couple minor issues: gasket for the fuel gage sender was pinched and leaks-dealer is fixing....

The whiney sound and rapid clanking sound like one of the balls in the main bearing broke. If it locked the bearing, the whirring could be the bearing has spun.

My Guess anyway... :?

Was in a local cycle shop today and saw some giant vinyl sheets in white and clear that are for adding MX numbers for your bike. I think you get 6 sheets that are about 11 by 16" for 16.95 per pack....
