Bought a new Apollo RFZ 125 Z20 Max for my daughter

Things I'm glad they did to these bikes: the airbox instead of an exposed airfilter, spash guard over the rear shock, heavier duty handlebars, grip seat, key ignition.

I am not sold on the steel...

My airbox seems to be excellent at collecting mud and water.
Spent some time tonight and made a mud guard to keep try and keep it clean. I'll try it out in the next couple days and see how well it...

So I've been starting it by jumping the starter...

So I've been starting it by jumping the starter relay. Once running, it will not shift. Is there possibly any electrical reasoning behind it not shifting? It shifted fine before these wiring issues...

That's what I thought is it normal for the engine to not turn over if that's unplugged? There's no indicator on the quad. Maybe there used to be.
