If you get over the chunky mounts of the ADV style mirrors these give you out to the side views and they are easy when riding off road to loosen and fold them inwards along the handlebar to get them tucked in away from danger of damage though the Templar has tight space with the headlight cowling and dash and cables taking up a bunch of space. That gets them out of the way from being bashed and when you leave the dirt for the open road you can quickly flip them back up for use in traffic.
