Yeah, winter pretty much sucks... I've got at least a month (maybe 2) before I can even consider getting out. Looong hard winter!

Cheers,
Stew

No Riding here!

I am so ready to move very south - Texas, Florida maybe. I lived in Hawaii for 5 yrs when I was in The US Army. Rode my Honda Rebel everywhere. Loved it. There was nothing like riding year round. I so miss it. :(

In the central midwestern states of the US, we normaly only get 2 to 6 snow storms each winter, each being around 4-8" and normaly melt off within a week depending on the temps. This year however we got quite a bit of snow. One storm being around 11-15" of snow, which for Missouri is record breaking. That being said the roads were pretty clear by the next day, however the salt was still pretty heavy on the roads until last week and that's the only time I'll park the bike. The bikes just have no corrosion protection. I think they are calling for a little more snow later this week, but otherwise here in Missouri, US, we should be pretty much done with the snow accept for an occasional freak March or April snow.

Don't do it. Florida is flat. Lots of traffic around the coastal areas. Thunderstorms, hurricanes, blue hairs....

LOL, guys.... :P

Even in The PRK. Snow down to 1000 feet. We had hail the size of marbles today. I know...you midwestern guys get it the size of golf balls but it's unheard of here. Funnel cloud a mile from my work. 8O Freezing out. Gonna huddle with my scooters in my warm garage and drink this one out I'm afraid. 8)

Yea, I kinda was hoping we were in the clear. Last week we had two days close to 70F, then I woke up this morning to a fresh blanket of snow and a freezing house. I took the furnace out last week because I was going to put in a new one, but then the truck needed some work and the money went to that instead :? .

Not having to spend 30 minutes getting bundled up before a ride or spending 30 minutes after a ride trying to wipe all the salt off was kinda nice last week. Oh well, I feel confident saying "that was our last snow".

Very clear and sunny but very cold here past 2 days. Lows in the teens, highs in the low 30's. Have not ridden in 3 days. Good flying weather though. Heading to Wallowa Lake, OR (Hell's Canyon area) after half day of work. Gonna do some snowshoeing!

It's around 30F here today, and I'm not going to be riding this weekend. I was hoping to do some work on my quad and bike, but it's too cold in the shop.
