Spring is here
Lots of bugs. Saw a huge rattler sun bathing in the middle of the road. No photo because I was busy negotiating curves and get out of its way.
The road to Crystal lake was closed for years, but it's open now. |

Beautiful pictures, Roketa. I've been there, back in the day...
I bet your little bike was a hurting unit at 5,000+ feet! :P

Doc, you sound like you’ve been everywhere.
I've been blessed to enjoy motorcycles for about 30 years now. I have hundreds of thousands of miles under me, I stopped keeping track years ago. I've ridden in, and to 49 states so far. Hawaii has been posing a problem, but I'm working on it. Two accidents. One my fault. Stopped at an intersection 10 years ago got distracted and pulled out in front of a small SUV. broken leg. Was back on the bike in 2 weeks (just my fibula, but it hurt!) The other accident you all know about. About a dozen biffs on the dirt bikes over the decades but if there are no broken bones those don't count. 8)

That's funny; Hawaii is the only State that I have ridden in.

I've ridden in BC. Up to Point Renfrew (if I remember the name correctly). Magnificently beautiful ride. We were blessed with nice weather too. One of the only long rides my ex ever went with me on. I have many nice memories of that trip. Makes me sad to think about it now though after eveything.

Mt. Baldy
I didn't know there's a ski lift there. Elevation over 5,000ft. Doc, don't tell me, you've been there. You know, the more I look at this bike the more I dislike the color. That said, it's never about the color I like, rather what others can see and this is one ugly a@@ color I don't think people will miss. Round trip: 140 miles 92 Oct. gasoline consumption: ~1.7 gallons This is one gasoline miser. |
