2006 wildfire

My brother just picked up a 2006 wildfire. I don't know anything about these bikes and when he first bought it I thought it was a yamaha enduro bike but the title says wildfire. It needs some parts and I don't know where to look for them. It needs mirrors, kick stand and battery box. Where can I buy these parts and will yamaha parts fit it?

Thanks

Welcome!

Is it like the Wildfire on this page? Wildfire captured by Spudrider If so, you can find a lot of parts on eBay, but some basic fab skills would help. The engine is a Honda clone, and the rest of the bike is just a loose interpretation of modern bikes.

It kind of looks like that bike. Some things look different tho. Any tips on these kinds of bikes?

Thanks

Enjoy them for what they are. Use four stroke motorcycle oil, clean the filters, change the plug to a genuine NGK and ride it.

Got a pic?

Welcome to these forums; we are glad you joined us, Shawn. Yamaha parts are very unlikely to fit your Wildfire. Weldangrind gave you best advice regarding the acquisition of parts.

If you have time, please do post photos of your bike! We love photos, and we might be able to offer some better suggestions regarding your battery box if we see photos of it.
