I think the pitbike forks employ the following dimensions, all of which are too small for our bikes.

Upper clamp zone: 45mm
Lower clamp zone: 48mm
Overall Length (approx): 30 inches

The clamp zone dimensions are 3mm too small in diameter, and the forks are about 3-1/2 inches too short. :roll:

oh so the forks in that chart are standard forks? i can say I looked at it close enough to realize that

That chart includes both conventional and USD forks. However, it only lists the inner, fork tube diameter. I would like to find a chart that lists both clamp diameters for USD forks.

Relating to the video, I had a similar experience.. except it was in a gas station parking lot right after it rained. Some guy apparently didn't see me(hard to believe, 6'6" guy wearing a green reflective vest), and backed out of a parking space. had to put the brakes on real quick and woosh.. slid right over Ended up costing me a mirror and a scratch on the plastics, no biggie.

I was planning on doing something like that also, if we got snow the past winter. We didn't :(
