Which Color Tusk Handguards Should I Choose for my Zong?

I've been exploring a lot of mountain trails lately. Therefore, I have decided to mount a pair of Tusk D-Flex Handguards on my Zong.

I'm going to order the Tusk handguards in three days, so please vote in the poll, and help me decide which color I should choose!

1) Black Handguards with Orange Spoilers

2) Orange Handguards with Black Spoilers

3) Orange Handguards with Orange Spoilers

4) White Handguards with Orange Spoilers

5) Black Handguards with Black Spoilers

6) White Handguards with Black Spoilers

I can replace the handguard spoilers for $10/pair, so color appearance might be more important than the ability of the color to hide damage.

Indeed, I can replace all the components of the Tusk handguards. For example, I can also replace the handguard shields for $30/pair.

I think a side photograph of my Zong might also help us choose the best color for my handguards.

Perhaps some rear photographs will also help with the color selection.

Orange and orange...looks great and gives the most visibility to oncoming motorists FTW!

Plus, I want you vested in as much orange as possible so you don't have any more silly ideas about a total color change...

Thanks for your input, WCR.

The spoiler color is most visible from the front. The handguard shield is most visible from the back. Therefore, I think I basically have an orange/orange setup on my Zong right now.

Thank you for your input, gentlemen.

So far black/orange is beating the other votes three to one. The orange spoilers would give good visibility from the front of the bike. The black shields would be visible from the rear, but still located behind the handlebars and the aluminum handguard frames. The handguard shields would cover most of the spoilers from the rear view, but about 25 percent of the spoilers would still be visible from the rear.

I wish to thank everyone for his input. Please keep the votes coming in; I am going to order the Tusk D-Flex Handguards on Monday afternoon. Rocky Mountain ATV/MC has excellent customer service, so I should receive the handguards on Tuesday. I plan to install the handguards on either Tuesday, or Wednesday. Of course, I will post a new thread regarding the handguard installation in the Dual Sport Forum.

Spud I had to go with black just because everyone knows orange is the ugliest color for a motorcycle you must remember I work for the dot and am forced to wear orange at work ALL the time. It is like wearing a bullseye for traffic Surely red or blue would be safer and best of all make it FASTER.

I have wanted to kid Spud about this for some time. Be safe pal.

I am always looking to avoid trouble when I ride. I hope you will also ride safely, Driller.
