I'll get some pics soon. It was very late by the time we got it home, there was a 9 car (guessing on the number) accident on the main bridge of the freeway so it took forever to get home last night with it.

I don't mind the bike in red, white, or black. My only thought was is black is going to be the least conspicuous, but at least from the front and back the lights will show up.

I know many people will probably say it's a girls bike and whatever, but I don't really care, I got it cause it's cheap, reliable, and doesn't use much gas. I don't really like riding heavy bikes. My vulcan 800 is probably as big as I'd like.

The old Honda, currently my plan is to set it off to the side and think about it.

Who's cares what others say? I like small motorcycles. In fact, I prefer them to larger bikes. We eagerly await your photos.

Exactly. I don't. And I agree with you too for preference.

I don't think that's a coincidence, Weld. Chinese bikes are almost exclusively small motorcycles. Therefore, someone who would consider buying a Chinese bike must also be someone who likes small displacement motorcycles.

Exactly my point. I'm addressing Jim's comment about whatever goofballs refer to his new Honda as a "girl's bike". I don't give a rip about what anybody thinks of my motorcycles. Jim has a terrific attitude; like he says, it's cheap, reliable and easy on gas. Perfect.

Heck I like bikes! Large or small.

And my fellow Chinariders. :P

Consider my other streetbike is an 1850cc six cylinder. 850+ pounds.

I don't :P My dad's Harley is too big for me. That's not to say I think there's anything wrong with it, it's just not the bike for me, it suits others just fine

I admit that I like large bikes, but it's not likely that I'll ever own one. All of the associated costs are too high for me.

A guy can have only one wife, but as many bikes as he can afford. 8)

If he has NO wives he can afford more bikes. :P

If he has an EX wife he can afford fewer.

True, which is fine. I just think they should represent what they're selling accurately.

The one I looked at in Abbotsford, the first one, has been reposted.
http://abbotsford.en.craigslist.ca/mcy/3122131226.html

The ad states it is "like new" and "in great condition".

The reality is there is probably $400 or $500 worth of damage. The bike is mechanically sound, the tires are good, and you could definitely ride it like that. But if you have people coming out to look at it, and you've told them it's like new, when they come and find the muffler dented and scratched, the headlight scratched, the brake lever bent, multiple fairings cracked, one held together with a sticker, and so on, how can you expect them to want to deal with you? The seller needs to be honest with people, and himself that the bike is not "like new". It has to be reflected in price, but the bike would still be a good little commuter or first bike for someone.

I've only gotten a pic of the bike with a cell phone so far but here it is... Basically it's a new black cbr125... They're all the same really.
