Travel Trunks on Sale at J.C. Whitney!

J.C. Whitney is once again selling the travel trunks! They are now called Garage Pro Travel Trunks. The large travel trunk is on sale for $44.95, with free delivery, if you order before Monday! In addition, you can get another 10 percent off the price by using the promo code "zoom10."

That is a bargain on a great trunk. I sold mine with the scooter.

Fantastic trunks! I love mine, definitely the most useful addition to my bike.

I already own two of these travel trunks, and I am sorely tempted to buy a third one.

The Garage Pro Travel Trunk sold by J.C. Whitney comes with a steel mounting plate. This is a rugged travel trunk. It will take a lot of abuse, and last for years.

If you order before Tuesday, you can get a 10 percent discount, and receive the large travel trunk for $40.46, delivered! Many of us bought the large trunk for $48, delivered, and it was an exceptional deal at that price. This is an amazing deal; you can't go wrong.

Search ADVRider for reports on the J.C. Whitney Travel Trunk. Apparently you can also fit this travel trunk to Givi mounts. Some riders bought three of these trunks, and mounted them as saddlebags as well.

My J.C. Whitney Travel Trunk has taken a lot of abuse for several years. I like it so much, I bought a spare when they were on sale for $48, delivered. A price of $40.46, delivered, is an exceptional bargain!

These travel trunks come supplied with a very strong, metal mounting plate. The plastic mounting plates on some other trunks will fail. :(

You can pack a lot of stuff in the large travel trunks, and they are very easy to remove for the evening, or for hiding in the brush while taking an impromptu, off road excursion.

These travel trunks are very handy when taking a multi-day trip.

These travel trunks are also quite handy for grocery shopping, or running other errands around town.

I can only use one trunk at a time, and I already have a spare trunk. However, I'm still tempted to pick up another spare at this price.

thanks, i've been looking at these type of trunks. Does it seem halfway secure? Or could someone pop it open with a screwdriver in 5 seconds?

I realize these are not going to be extremely secure, I just want it to take more than a few seconds to break into it (and it will be broken into here).

I would not call them secure, but I never carried valuables in mine either. The do securely attach to the bike.

If you are concerned just unsnap it and carry it inside with you.

I'm not normally a gambler, but I would have put money on that, Spud.
