Desert Dualing

Dual(ing)-Sport that is :-)

Went for a little ride for a study break and to celebrate this beautiful day and think about God and enjoy his Creation.

God must love motorcrossers because He created so many beautiful places to ride them.

A field of canola in full bloom. You can't see how pretty the yellow is in this picture because of where the sun was during the photograph.

Digging the YZ.

A fresh dune. I tore it up big time :-)

A pic of the Ranger for SOWAG ;-)

Great photo's Doc. I have never seen a rear tyre like this before. Is this purely for riding in sand?

Those are called sand paddles. The tire is only good for use in sand. They may be good for water skipping too.

It is the best way to ride on Sands. I can ride a good, large, aggressive, new knobby on the sands, but even compare to that the sand paddle is much much better. Aside from sand, it's a disaster LOL.

It's too bad the sun prevented your photograph from doing the canola field justice. A ripe field of canola is a beautiful, vibrant yellow.

I sure saw my share of canola while travelling through Saskatchewan this week. Amazing.

Thanks for the pics, Doc. I'll be sure to share the Tonto pic with Son of Weldangrind when I see him next. BTW, Bro-in-law is visiting so we can get some time on his café project, and he says hello.

I'll post pics of Son of Weldangrind's Ranger, as soon as he installs the new front lift kit. Twin I-Beam Rangers have a nose-down stance, but his is worse due to an extra leaf in the rear. The lift kit will level it out, and suit the 15" rims that he scored.

Great video. I've never seen a race like that looks like amazing fun. I'd love to ride that course, but with only about 1% of the other riders, LOL!

Plus, I'd guess they are going well over 100 MPH. The fastest I've gone in deep sand is maybe 60, and that was sick ;-)

That sand is probably more hard packed, not the type you sink in past your ankles while walking on it though.

Thanks for the video!
