I was going to drill all the pretty holes and thought about defeating the whole purpose I was putting the skid plate on in the first place. LOL. I do plan on extending the sides out more and do something similar to what Chuck did. First I wanted to do something simple to show the average guy who don't have Welders or welding skills can do. All that was needed was a grinder, jigsaw and drill. You can go to any fabrication shop and have them cut you a piece to size for little or no money. I have all the tools equipment, Welding machine and skills to make something more complicated. Aluminum could be used instead but will have to be careful not to Crack the aluminum when making sharp bends.

Contact mjstef hawkclusters@gmail.com for the stack plate. He has the valve cover kit with the stack plate cooler and I think he is working on getting the oil screen version like my kit with the stack plate too.

Aluminum is much easier if you anneal it first. All it takes is a bar of soap and a propane torch. Google is your friend.

Thanks for the info. I may remake it in aluminum later on. I was thinking I would have to do some welding was the main reason I went with steel. My welder is set up for stainless and steel right now and didn't want to have to set everything back up for aluminum. I have lots of aluminum wire but no shield gas.

It will only translate the text. Anything that is in a picture will not translate.

The oil pump sucks it threw the oil line and cooler then returns back to the base.
