I'm a Dang Lucky Guy

Some may recall that Mrs. 2LZ wanted a new log splitter for her birthday. Beats buying diamonds, right? Then, a few months back, we dropped a couple of large black oak spars in preparation of our "future shop".

Well, here are the before and after pics, from the same vantage point. Mrs. 2LZ has been busting her tail, but this is how she plays. Like she says, "I'd much rather use a chainsaw and splitter than do the laundry."

I used the Rhino this weekend to haul around my landscape drag to smooth it all out. When those trees came down, with all the rain, they left some HUGE holes. Rhino did great. As a bonus, I've included one sitting in the shade, enjoying an ice cold Miller Lite after she finished yesterday. There's still a some that needs stacking but she's presently split and stacked well over 3.5 cords. We'll get a final measure this weekend.
All that's left is a pile of unwanted (bugs, rot, etc...). That will go up in flames first rain.

She's quite a hand! Better keep her around. That's a lot of work no doubt and looks great.

Can Your Beer Do That!!!

For those of you who remember the Miller Lite commercials from the 90s!

My favorite (at that time) was the "Winner Dog Winter Nationals"! If you don't remember it, it's on YouTube.

I love that one. I don't want to spoil the ending but Muffy wins.

Hb, thanks for the advice, don't I know it...

If you eat too much, first is appetite, and created a trend and not substantial enough to stave off hunger; a vicious circle, the more you have, the more (you want). The other hand, nutrient accumulations, bloated body fat, also many flaws such as high blood pressure, diabetes.

Hey! It's her preferred beer!....and I'll accept that for 18.95 a 30 pack!
Special occasions she likes Alaskan Amber or Blue Moon. Fortunately, there's not many special occasions..... ;-)

We don't have prices like that; God Bless America! Every time I cross the border, I look forward to Pacific Northwest IPA products from local craft breweries at reasonable prices. If I get to the range of a buck a beer, I call it a win. The average craft beer six pack on my side of the border is around $14.00.
