Portland Oregon Bashan BSR 250

First time owning a motorcycle. I have the Bashan enforcer, BSR 250 ect, the bashan hawk is what i call it. I live in the Beaverton area and use it to ride to work and play in the dirt. So far I've done the exhaust, mikuni carb, smoked led turn signal, led head and tail lights and hand guards. Only issus ive had was first the back tube popped, and still need to order a pilot jet so it stops dieing when i let of the gas at times. So far happy and glad for all the information ive been able to find on here.

Late welcome from me. Just out of curiosity, you say it dies when you let off the gas. There are 2 other things that can cause this. Poor valve lash adjustment and the idle mixture not being set correctly. Have you done both of these already?

I did the valves when I first got it, will be doing it again soon. As for the air/fuel screw had a aftermarket one that hung lower to adjust eaiser and the dang thing worked its way out the other night so put the stock one back in and seems to be running better now. Order the jet sizes you suggest to fine tune it more this coming week.

Yeah, I tried one of those idle mixture thumb screws too. Mine didn't back out, but the tip of it broke off. Ended up using the original mixture screw again.
