New to me Hawk 250

I purchased this Hawk locally from a fellow board member http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=21661 . It was a pleasure purchasing from axistic. He actually titled the Hawk the day before I picked it up to ensure that I wouldn't have any issues. I already ordered the CSC seat, new spokes, and other small things. Hopefully the CSC front spokes fit the Hawk.

Looks to be in good shape with some upgrades - noticed the aftermarket exhaust pipe installed, nice bonus. Give the bolts a thorough inspection to make sure they're snug, especially any bolts on the frame, wheels, and disc rotors. Congrats on the Hawk 250, it's a great bike and I'm liking mine a lot so far.

Nice looking bike. I notice that the forks are still in the shipping position. The top of the fork should be close to the top of the triple T to were the cap is just above the triple T.

Yeah, I realized this when the wheelbase was too short to fit correctly on the motorcycle carrier.

Another Florida Hawk Owner!

Congrats on the Hawk! There is a growing number of us Florida folks! We might have to start having Chinese Bike Rallies!

Stay safe!

Welcome! If you're serious about learning to ride, I encourage you to take an MSF course.

I second that! Don’t let your friends teach you their bad habits! I suggest an MSF course to all my friends who want to learn how to ride motorcycles.

What did you end up paying for the bike if you don't mind me asking? Sad for the seller to have to give up such a nice start to a bike but I'm glad it went to a member here.

$1,200.00 , I didn't have a problem with the price, just the lack of title. He actually told me to wait and got it titled himself to avoid any hassles.

Replacing the broken spokes in the front wheel today. I saw another Hawk 250 when I was pulling into Advance Auto. So that makes at least 2 Hawks in Cutler Bay, Florida..

With them being sold on Ebay and now Walmart online I have a feeling we are at the beginning of the Chinese bike invasion.

Congrats on new bike. I just purchased one as well. Can you post pic of it with new seat? Was the purpose of the seat to lower it? Reason I ask is I am thinking of getting wife one as well but needs to be lower. Thanks
