April 12, '08 trail ride - Lorneville, N.B.

Got up 6:30, sun was out. By the time I got out of Saint John to Lorneville, it was clouding over and starting to rain. Spent almost two hours riding woods trails with cousin who also just bought a GY-5. There was lots of snow down, and we had to push/pull the bikes through a few parts. We both went down in the snow, and I lost a rear signal light washing my front tyre out on gravel in a pit that we hit up.

I had to ride about a half hour home afterwards, and it sucked. It was about 0 degrees Celsius, and raining, and I didn't have any rain gear on. I was pretty freakin' cold.

The GY-5s are a heck of a lot more fun off-road than my old XS-650, but there's a lot less torque to play with.....

I took some OK photos but I can't figure out how to post them in here.[/img]
