Awesome post! The grom clones are tough as nails. I've got about 1500 miles on mine with quite a bit of back/dirt road action under it's belt. Not a problem.

So sorry, got busy and have just got back on the forum! I believe I only added a single 'pair' when I upped the sprocket. I ordered a 120-link chain from Amazon - link below - and adjusted it from there. $20 bucks for the chain and $15 for the chain breaker was worth investing into.

Side note - don't forget to get yourself lubricant for the chain if you end up replacing it - I thought they'd be ok straight from the box, but noticed a huge difference in noise/friction after cleaning and relubricating the links. This was before taking it offroad in the dirt, about 100ish miles on the new chain - just to put that out there.
