No information was asked for. They went off of the order number when I ordered it. Its marked as a 110 cc TForce on Amazon. But when I assembled it, I noticed it said 120cc class on the plate. Yes, I charged all the batteries I got for the atv with a trickle charger. I now have an AGM battery. I guess my next test will be to put the old stator back in and give that a try. Thanks for the help.

Okay guys, I hoped this would have worked. I bought a new regulator direct from taotao, and put the old stator back in. Fired it up, seemed good at first, holding around 13.5-14 volts. Throttled it up, and it slowly climbed to 16.7-17 volts, but never went over 17. Let off and drops the 14-15 fluctuating volts. Didn't want to smoke a 4th battery so I quit. Any ideas? It wouldn't have anything to do with it being -22 degrees F outside would it. I keep the garage just above freezing, and bring the battery in to the house

so the motor is a copy of the Honda… I am wondering if the
charging system is also...

early Honda's had this same issue.... as they had a rectifier and used the battery
as the regulator .. they may call it a regulator but is it..

the Pardue brothers in the US make a regulator that wires in between
the rectifier and the battery for the CT Honda's..

could you post a picture of the regulator..

so that's my thoughts on it....

It sounds like you are chasing your tail on this .I do not know where you live ,but in one of your posts you mention -20f temps ,so I am thinking you might have access to snowmobile parts .Anyways ,one idea ,is to wire in a universal voltage regulator ,and one that is widely used is one from a 80’s or older Ski Doo brand .They are very cheap ,very easy to wire ,and work very well ,and are sold as the universal option for snowmobiles ,atv’s and motorcycles .

Okay, so wife doesn't like me continuing to throw parts at this thing and I'm too stubborn to bring it in so I'm trying again on here. I did a few tests tonight and want to see if anyone can decifer this. I also felt I,had a win tonight. I got the voltage to consistently read 14.3 at idle. Only when I gave it throttle did it climb to 17v. So here's this:

Red and black stator 51 AC volts
White 11
Yellow 8
Blue 1 volt AC

Regulator
White 11 AC
Yellow 9
Red all over the place

Regulator DC
Red 14.2 idle climbs with throttle applied
Non at other wires

Ohm
Stator
White .4
Yellow .3
Blue 144.6
Red 0L
Green 0.0

Regulator. -lead on green + to all others
.3 yellow
White .5
Red OL
Green 0.0

Ohm. - lead on green + to all others
Green to yellow .2
Green to red 584 and dropping
Green to blue 145.7
Green to white .2

I had a mechanic at my shop look into it, and he is just as puzzled as I am. He is very knowledgeable in electronic testing, and he couldn't figure it out. We checked all wires, OHM tested, voltage tested, we've flipped the connectors, even though the wiring is right, we've pulled the wires out and inspected, we pulled the plugs from the wires and recrimped them, and nothing has changed. The only thing we have gained from doing all of this, is it goes down to 13.5-14.3 volts at idle. Which before all of this, when you let of the throttle the voltage would stay up around 15 volts at idle. It still climbs to 17 volts when even giving it about 1/4 throttle
