Doh! mikuni carb idle speed screw

i stripped the Phillips head on my idle set screw (not idle mix) and im about to use left handed drill bit and easy out to remove said bolt. before i do im wondering if its a normal machine screw i could find at the hardware store?

You could try to use a dremmel and make a slot so you can use a flat head screw driver.

the head is almost non existent at this point. this is the softest metal ive ever dealt with.

welp after looking further, it is not a normal machine screw. the tip of it is blunt as most of you know to raise the "slide throttle". left handed bit did not back it out.. an easy out snapped in half on me.. OH WELL its only a 30$ carb!

Check to see if the idle screw is the same from the stock carb.
