sputter at full throttle

hello, as some of you know, i am a total noob! I got my first bike (hawk) about a 3-4 weeks ago. When temps for 15-35 degrees. 40 pilot 110 main jet. Now that it is 45-70 degrees here in Ohio.. I think that my main jet is running too rich because it will sputter / bog down at full throttle. Once in a while it will sputter at 1/2 throttle, rarely. what is the best method to diagnose what circuit / jet is running rich or lean?

Full throttle will be the main jet. If it ran fine with the cold weather then it must be running rich. Drop down to a 105. Are you still running the stock exhaust with the cat?

If you are at full throttle and are having problems, then your main jet needs to be adjusted. I'll try to find a picture that tells you what each jest does, but this article could help too.
