What alarm did you purchase?

I have the same situation...only would want to alarm when out and about town. Wouldn't use a remote start. What alarm did you purchase?

I bought this one and only hooked up the alarm portion. Just use the Black and red wires and hook the two yellow wires. One to each turn signal left and right. All four will flash.

I saw someone do this on a TT250, though they had to drill holes. I had previously mounted mine above the fork clamps using fork brackets, otherwise I would have done a fender mount if I had thought of it!

This is perfect for TT250 owners who want keep their tank plastics.

Looks great. I like the fact that now you do not have to put back the chrome exhaust covers. It also seems like your Right rear turn signal will still be safe from the heat .

What about jetting? I live a6000 ft and the stock carb seems pretty good for this elevation so far (15 miles only at this point). i have already purchased a replacement carb and jets but can leave it for quite some time while i get a few miles on the bike.

Look on a stock photo of a 2020 brozz and you will see they have 4X amber reflectors on the front. The new front fender has a flat area with a hole from the factory for the amber reflectors. Because of the contours of the flattened out area i'm sure it's stronger than just drilling a hole in the tt250 front fender but of course you can always reinforce the area.

It is ever so slightly lean if anything @ 80deg f here in N.C. on the coast but not worrisome but ordered A jet kit and air mixture screw last night I have taken for a 40 mile ride and no problems with power on stock carb and jets and yes rear turn signal is out of the way the only thing in the way is the license plate bracket which is metal

I didn’t have to do any reinforcement under off road conditions they do vibrate a little but not enough to give you a seizure LOL

Thanks for posting all your brozz recon upgrades! I picked up a new recon a few weeks ago and was lucky to find your thread. I did notice my headlight needs some lighting help. I was looking at an LED replacement bulb for an upgrade. :-)

Although i agree with Jeff from Peace Sports the bike is a lot better looking in the flesh than on video or pictures.

Another thing i,m not totally sold on is the chrome exhaust covers for the cat and the muffler But as of now it is what it is as they say.

So another thing people should know is you cannot simply remove the decals ( i thought i would change them up a little). The brozz/ Recon / front fender USA decals are clear coated over from the factory ? you can however peel off the dual sport decals from the front fork protectors if you wanted too.
I had to paint the heat shields black, it was just too much shine.

you guys are doing some great posts on your upgrades and I really like the tan plastics. I kinda like the fake carbon fiber on mine, if nothing else it breaks up the olive drab.
I haven't changed anything on mine yet and had my mind made up that I wouldn't but after riding it a couple of weeks now I think I will upgrade the lighting pretty quick here and eventually address the exhaust and carb. I have the shock for the rear to get it lowered but I have gotten real comfortable with the height since on level ground I can get the balls of both feet on the ground so I am in no hurry and am just enjoying riding it. when I do go to lower it I plan to buy a set of forks from peace to mod so that if it goes north I wont be dead in the water, a set of tan or kawi green plastics is on my wish list but pretty low priority.
I think according to the odometer I am a little over 300 miles which I know isn't much but so far I am really happy with it, it isn't perfect but neither were any of the other bikes I have owned and they costed several times more than the recon.
I am really enjoying following all the brozz and recon threads and appreciate the information, hopefully one day I can add something worthwhile.

I enjoyed my youth and pissed away a perfectly good military career in the bars from j-ville to havelock and for 100 miles in any direction, it's strange how time mingles fond memories with regret
