XR 200 engine in an Apollo chassis

How much fab work if any would be necessary to mount a 2 valve xr 200 engine in an Apollo rx 250 chassis ?

Shouldn't be any, it should pop right in, though you might need some washers for the head mount (they're narrower on Hondas). I've done the opposite, a Chinese motor into an XR200 chassis, it went in, no problems.

Just make sure the XR motor is in good shape, some were, in many cases, a victim of their own reliability, that is to say that they weren't maintained until something bad happened, because they would otherwise always work.

Edit: Could you do me a favor? I need some case measurements off of your old motor, could you PM me if that works for you?
