Is Apollo 250 (non-deluxe) fuel tank plastic?

Is the Apollo db-36 250 (non-deluxe version) fuel tank plastic?

As many others here, Im looking to update/replace my metal one on the deluxe and Im curious if the 'dirt' version is an option.

Im not overly concerned with sending unit or locking - more about fit and being plastic (less vibration).

No. You can purchase a plastic tank that is for a watercooled version. Don't know which countries got the watercooled but you can buy it here: http://store.orionmotors.nl//index.p...sort=2a&page=5

DON'T FORGET TO GET THE GAS CAP!

Yeah, I have that plastic tank on mine. It is great! Cuts down on vibration too. You don't have to worry about cracks coming in the tank where it connects to the frame. The only thing I had to do was kinda move the hole over on the bracket that holds the tank down. Very easy to do with a drill bit or a round file. You may not even have to do it on yours. All the plastic fits right up like it came from the factory like that.

Hi Beast250,new to the site I was wandering how your experience went with ordering the plastic tank? How was the shipping? I recently bought a apollo 250rx with the metal tank and it's leaking around the seam. Any info would be appreciated

hey brother the plastic tank is awesome ben 2 years for me using the same tank after 3 metal ones. only thing i would do is insulate the frame with a cut of a dark colored pool noodle to insulate the tank to the frame and it is seriosuly the best swap possible for this bike but order the cap it doesnt come with one like they said i had to make two orders and wait. if they dont show it in the pic it doesnt come with it.. that mean hardware isnt included.
