Should I buy a used TBR7

I found a 2019 TBR7 with 130 miles. Owner says the carb has been changed but not tuned. Is it worth $1000? Whats your opinion?

If it runs, jumps and skips...it's a steal!

I think it's a good buy for 1k but the cheapskate in me says I would offer $900. I usually buy used bikes close to what I think it will be worth when it comes time for me to sell it.

He was asking 1400. Then dropped to 1200. It seemed like a decent price.

Anything new will cost you $1500 to $1600...for the hawk's, TBR7's, Raven's etc...If it runs decent, has no major damage and the title is clear...I would jump on it! First, it probably needs the valves adjusted...then I would worry about the jets etc...Heck...130 miles...are you sure those aren't kilometers? That would 81 miles. Jump!

If the owner has already went through the process of getting an actual DMV title, then that is a lot less potential hassle, and stress to deal with. I would buy it , if you trust the milage, but if you plan on registering it, and it does NOT have a title then , it may not be worth the potential headache. If you do want it for off road only, I would verify that the MCO is in the sellers name. On someone you don't know , it could be a situation like an ex bought it for him, and she has the MCO in her name.

Yeah it sounds like a decent price for a bike with 130 miles on it. The China bikes are better quality than I expected, for the money you can’t beat it! Only real issue is resale, in my area resale in Chinese made bikes are kinda low but at thousand dollars the most you would probably loose would be a couple of hundred after a year or two of fun

yes,...what Bill Hilly says....you ideally want a title that can be signed over to you...you don't want an MCO that hasn't been dealt with.....even if you only want it for off-road, if a time comes to sell,...you'll have problems

Good points about the title, you definitely want a title.

According to the listing, there us a clean title. I will have to verify that when I go to see it. I can see the plate on the bike in the pictures. So I guess that is a good sign.

Good luck, I hope it works out for you. At 130 miles on it things are still pretty much new. I’d check the wear on the tires to see if they look like practically new tires, asked if bike has been wrecked or dropped, any problems with the engine. If all things check out with the title and such I’d say you couldn’t go too wrong at $1000

If the odometer worked like mine, if it says 130miles it probably only has about 50 actual miles.
