X22 Speedo Cable Came Loose

Hi, all -

Bike has been running GREAT. Yesterday, I went for a long ride and, on my way home, I lost the speedo. Got home to discover the cable loosened from the dash.

I know where it needs to go and how to reinstall it. However, no matter what I try, I can't get ANY tools into that space.

Anyone experience this before? It looks like I will have to remove the dash to be able to access it, or potentially pull the headlight housing.

Thoughts and advice are greatly appreciated.

This issue is sorted, everyone. In case you run into this problem, here is how to fix it:

1) Remove the 8 screws on the dash. Keep these separated, as they differ in size.
2) Pop the dash trim off after screws are removed.
3) Remove the two 10mm bolts that hold the dash in place.
4) Swing the dash forward.
5) From the front of the bike, reinsert the cable end into your speedo.
6) Use some blue Loc-Tite on the nut when replacing it. Be careful not to cross-thread.
7) Test the bike prior to reassembling.

Not too bad at all. Worked like a charm.
