Short shock for Brozz

New to the site.
Looking for reconditions for a replacement rear shock for a Brozz that will lower the seat height as I'm a shorter rider.
Thanks for the help.

The Brozz rear shock is already shorter than the rest of the Hawk style bikes, roughly 295-300mm long instead of 320mm. They did this because the Brozz swing arm shock mount sits higher above the swing arm.

The real question is, how much lower do you want to go?

Personally, I would recommend the same shock I run on my Hawk, which has a Brozz swing arm on it. It's more expensive than other options out there, but it is worth the extra money. https://www.amazon.com/FASTACE-RACIN.../dp/B081VVX57N

That shock will drop the back of your bike about 3 inches. Then it will sit a lot like my bike. (Pictures on the first post, just scroll down). http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=23546

You could also drop the front by raising the forks up in the triple clamps about an inch.

You will need spacers for the upper and lower mounts. I needed 2 5mm wide spacers for the top mount and 2 10mm wide spacers for the bottom.

Do you think this shock would work on the Hawk DLX? I would be happy to have a few inches of drop. Thanks

I wouldn't personally. That shock with a Hawk swing arm would be like a 5-6 inch drop in ride height and would make the rear suspension kind of useless lol. It only works when paired with a Brozz swing arm. For a Hawk you would want to look for shocks between 295mm-315mm. With a Brozz rear shock on a Hawk you would see a similar ride height to my bike though. A brozz rear shock is $45 from Peace Sports Atlanta (Brozz250.com) and basically bolts right on.

Shorter shock

Ohh great info.
My neighbor has a 2019 Brozz . His shock is adjusted as low as possible and his forks are solid up some and I can just touch the ground. I'm looking to get a 2022 Brozz that's higher than his was before his mods.
I do still want it to hold 2 people but getting it lower would be needed.
Thanks for your shock reconditions.
