KINROAD RUNMASTER 200CC

Hello everyone!!!

yesterday I stopped off at the local Metric Shop and noticed a 200cc Kinroad Runmaster for sale....$1699 out the door.

My question is this........."DOES ANYONE HAVE OR KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THESE BIKES ":?:

Kinroad is sold as the RunMaster brand in the US, and the headquarters are in Texas. They are, or were, predominantly a discount ebay-type bike--not a bad thing, but not known as a great bike, either. $1700 might be the new prices for the "low end" GY's now, but contact Runmaster and see if they have other dealers nearby.

Contacting Runmaster is a good idea. The 200cc is a good looking bike except for the small gas tank 1.25gal.

I have been holding out for an American Lifan 200GY5 but the local dealer has no idea when they will be in. First it was June and now it may be in Aug. sometimes.

Arklatex,

I've got one of these bikes, but mine has a 8 liter tank (about 2.11 gallons). Overall a decent bike I'd say. Some fit and finish issues, but not too bad. I traded a guy for mine so I can't say if that's a good price or not. But mine only had 17 kilometers on it when I got it, so basically brand new. I've got about 150km on it now. No big issues, just little stuff that most of these bikes need. He was asking $1200 for it before I talked him into a trade though.

Good luck,

NV

Thanks for the input nvbigblue.........a 2 gal tank would not be bad at all, but a 1.25gal is a bit small. Sounds like you got yourself a good deal.

2 gal= about 185 miles a tank. That's way better than my honda. I'm only getting about 120 miles a tank. :(

Kinroad

I think 1700 is too high. It may have the 5 down transmission, if you can get used to that, it is a pretty good bike.
