It seems that alot of tires are out of stock, but here is a rear. The 110/80-18 is close to the 4.10-18 rear.

The duro medians are still out of stock.

Better answer to your question.

A 4.10x18 equates to about a 110/90 metric size and a 2.75x21 to a 70/90x21 tire.

I have been told that a 120 wide rear street tread will fit.

I am also running a 90/90 front tire since that was the only option for a 21" wheel in the duro median tire.

If you don't want to mount them yourself just go down to a local shop and have it done.

The kenda challenger is a got street tire that comes in the right sizes.

A 120/90-18 as shown on the parts list will fit...barely. I had to move my exhaust out a little to the side to clear, and a battery box relocation is a good move at the same time.

It's a pretty big gear ratio change so unless you are looking for more top end you might wanna pick up a larger rear sprocket to go with that tire.

The 110 is much closer to stock size and you will not need to worry about clearance problems.

I found, bought, and used 21" and 18" Kenda challenger street tires on my chinabike. I liked them a lot.

What about the cheng shin barracuda, http://www.americanmototire.com/cata...cPath=33_96_99

I was thinking of getting some of these for my gy6...

CHENG SHIN BARRACUDA 3.00H-21 FRONT $28.74
CHENG SHIN BARRACUDA 110/90H-18 REAR $41.41

DIAGONAL GROOVES PROVIDE GREATER WATER DISPERSION FOR IMPROVED WET-ROAD CONFIDENCE
#
ADVANCED CARCASS CONSTRUCTION PROVIDES EXCELLENT HANDLING AND STABILITY ACROSS A RANGE OF SPEEDS

Though it is tubeless, I'm not an expert, will they possibly work with a tube, or are those challenger's a better idea since they specifically say tube/tubeless?

You can run a tube in a tubeless tire with no problems. Just not the other way around.

Thanks Allen, that's what I was figuring, but I wanted to double check before ordering... I think those sizes look right for my bike....

I found a few pages with info on tire size conversions
http://www.webbikeworld.com/Motorcyc.../tire-data.htm
http://www.steelthundercc.com/tiresizes.html

My gy6 should have
front: 2.75/21
rear: 4.1/18

so for the rear I should go 110/90 - 18 and the front should be I think 80/90 or 90/90 - 21, but with the 21 barracuda, I only see the 3.0 -21 so I am thinking it will be my only choice with that brand... Is that going to make that tire wider, or taller?

Thanks again.

I have 3.0 tire on the front of my bike. It is fine. I would use a 110/90 for a rear also.

I have a kenda challenger that I salvaged form a yamaha that is going on next.

The barracudas are fine too. Low-cost tire in the right size. The street tires will last forever on these lightweight bikes.

those Barracuda's came on my Sierra. Handle good ride smooth, on the street that is. Watch it in wet grass. Work with tubes.

Thanks Allen, and thanks Wool-Z....

Is the 3.0 taller, or wider, or both?
