Tail light problem

So i noticed that my tail light was out the other day, so i took it apart and tried a new bulb and still had no luck, but the thing is the brake light still works. I checked all the connections in the back, is there another place i should check?

I think the taillight wire is the brown wire on the harness make sure both ends are fully into the connector tabs, my brake light wire pushes out of the connector tab when I attach the tabs together, I have to push the end back into the tab with a screwdriver while they are connected, also make sure the wire has not come off the filament where you insert the bulb, providing everything is good it might be deeper down in the electrical system or the battery or you might be running too much wattage in the headlight or something causing the bulbs to burn out?
