250cc or larger?

I have a few coins to spend on another bike.

I might buy another GY-5 but I would prefer a few more ponies and something a little tougher, as I am a BIG guy.

I have been google ing but have not found anything that is in stock over 200cc in a Enduro.

One other thing is I need it in a crate so it can be shipped to me in Alaska so that leaves out the used bikes :(

Does anyone here know of any bikes and dealers that might have something to fit my needs?

Thanks,
steve

There used to be some 250 hi-birds but noone can seem to find any or anything bigger right now...I too am waiting for atleast 300cc or bigger before I get another one.

Have you searched locally to see if anyone has anything on craigslist?

Wildfire Water Cooled 250 Enduro

Wildfire sells a water cooled 250 enduro that looks interesting. Don't know if anyone here has tried out one. Not sure which factory makes it.

http://www.wildfiremotors.com//index...hk=1&Itemid=75

Xingyue makes a nice 250 4-valve bike and also makes a 400 water-cooled enduro machine.

Just about all the other 250's (like the 200's) are based on the old Honda CG 125 pushrod engines.

The question is, can you get one from a licensed dealer that can add the FMVSS to the MCO since these bike may not be DOT stickered.

Everyone thanks very much for your input

srreynolds2003
I have been watching craigs list not many bikes in Ketchikan and a trip to Seattle would cost around $1200 to $1500 Ferry rides round trip and cost just to be there :(

Phil thanks but lights are pretty much a must have.

elroyjetsn,
Sweet looking bike, I need to research wildfire a bit more

But you need to export it out of canada and import it into the usa, that adds a fair bit of paper work I would assume...

The more I look at China bikes the more impressed I am, though the fact that so few of the bikes are available in the US angers me!

Importing can't be that hard.We do it with cars and trucks all the time in Canada with cars from the USA.
If it is compliant with CDN MVA DOT it will be ok for USA import.
All depends on the price and if it's what you want...LOL

Xispa Trials Bikes

A spanish? scooter company is contracting a chinese company to make parts for their new line of trials bikes. Xispa has at least one popular trials bike company in a tizy. Mainly due to the $10,000 plus pricetag that Xispa is about to seriously undercut for their 250cc models.

Hello Steve,
This bike is not in your market yet. The only HBMoto bike in your market is our chopper. The enduro should be for sale in the US market in January .
Please check back with us then.
