Rear sprocket free play

My rear sprocket has a little free play side to side. I'm not sure how to adjust this or if this is normal. It has the rear drum brake...not sure if that matters. Is this something I need to adjust?

Depends on the bike but probably normal and harmless if the bike is a Lifanoid? Is the sprocket held on with a large circlip? The 4 bolts only hold the pins for the cush drive. tightening them will not help.

yeah the 4 bolts are tight...i was checking the chain tension and noticed it was loose so it kind of worried me, but it doesn't look like it can be tightened up

You're fine. Most are that way.

The only real solution is to shim between the sprocket and the circlip.

Thanks for the help! I haven't really been around bikes much so I'm a bit of a newbie. Otherwise the bike is running great. I'm still tweaking some things but I didn't think I could have this much fun on a $400 bike.

Part of the fun is how little they cost. It feels like cheating!

If your bike is anything like mine it has rubber bushings in it and they are most likely wore out.
