Dual Sport Forum Dedication

I just read the news posts on the chinariders.net homepage and noticed this forum has now been dedicated to Phil. It's a nice touch, and well done to those responsible for the idea and implementation.

I plan to help out the fund for Phil's family when I free up some cash. Although, I'd really like to make sure it's actually going to them since I'm always a bit nervous of the wrong types taking advantage of tragedy. I saw it with my neighbour not that long ago and happily that monster got caught.

The info provided jives with google. I am sure it is on the up and up.

I would have an easier time just sending some money via paypal directly to Pam.

Indeed, I think dedicating the dual sport forum to Phil was very cool. I miss his posts and hope his family is doing ok. He was taken way too soon.

I agree. The dedication was Allen's idea; the rest of the Moderators agreed it was fitting.

Or Phil's son when the time is right.

I hope that boy is ok.

Amen. Let's continue to remember Pam, and Phil's son, in our prayers.

I don't know who Phil was, but this thread makes me feel this is a pretty tight community.

Phil was a decent, honest man, and a Christian brother; we miss him very much. :( I am consoled by the fact he went home to be with God.

Phil was a guy who would try and help any member who needed it, No BS and plain talk. He went too young.........Guess in some ways it was a wake up call for all of us that we can be gone any second of any day, At least it was for me. Odd how a person who is just words on a screen can make an impact without ever meeting them. All I can think of is his boy, I went through that same loss and I feel for him.

Tight, but not a closed community.

We're always happy to welcome new members, and you'll notice that nobody flames a new guy for asking newbie questions.

RIP Phil.
