I think that will be fine. I used a 45t as that was what was available.

I laughed out loud when I read it, and the seller was totally serious. Still, it's tough to find a China DS in Canada that isn't overpriced. When I found out that this one had valid regi, I jumped on it.

Cracked me up too. I was happy when it ran, because now I can get serious.

Do you know anything about the cam chain tensioners on these OHC engines? Are they automatic?

Pretty sure its automatic. It looked identical to the XR200 engine's tensioner and that one is automatic.

This tensioner is quite different from the XR200, in that it's horizontally mounted to the cylinder, vs. vertically mounted to the case.

I cleaned off the serial number, and it clearly says 163FMI, which would translate to a 125cc engine with a 63mm bore. Since it was sold as a Roketa 200 DB-07A, do you think the I is a typo, and it should have been an L? I've never heard of a 125 engine ending up in a 200, but the PO could certainly have had a new engine installed in Mexico, and some bandito might've popped a 125 in there.

Thoughts?

Some quick math tells me that a 63mm bore would need a 40mm stroke to equal 125cc, which is ridiculous. Also, the carb is a PZ27 with a 109 main and 38 slow jet, and my guess is that's way too much to feed a 125. I'm betting on a typo, but I'm also trying to figure out how to determine displacment without pulling the head.

Interesting. The only 200cc OHC CB I've ever closely observed was my Dirt Rat's.

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/pm...690086168.html

just came across this on craigslist, looks pretty similar to yours doesnt it?

maybe you can get parts that work on many models, if this one looks close enough you could try searching for parts for it.

PS if you or anyone you know is ever selling a TW200 pleae let me know!

Thanks for the tip! I recently found a TW for a decent price, but I see it has been removed from CL already. I'll keep you in mind if I spot one.

Hey Spud, I received my new '04 CRF250X muffler today, and it doesn't have a USFS approval stamp on it. Does yours?
