it was probably another dumb error on my part. i believe i ordered it for the wr250z which i thought was my best shot to get onto a 225 header. i should have researched more, but i will find a way to improvise fabricate something nice. A bit more work then i originally intended but im pretty excited for it!
Here's the spark arrestor I installed.

I'm sure the silencer you purchased will work fine, Mike. Please do keep us updated regarding your progress!

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, no?

After

Now if the tires would ever show up I could go play.

Indeed, it is. I am flattered, Obso. Thanks for posting the nice photos; you did a great job!

What tires did you order? Did you order knobby tires from Taobao? :?:

Are you in the U.S. Virgin Islands? We would love to see more photographs of your Zong in it's native habitat!

Yes, I'm in the US Virgin islands. I would like to look into Taobao but I wanted tires quick so I picked up some kenda 671's off ebay.

Here's the only photo I have of it out.

More pictures are definitely coming though

Thanks for the amazing ocean pic; please keep them coming.

The new tail light, signals and FMF look like a good fit.

Indeed, I also like all your changes, Obso. What tail light did you install? It appears to me you installed the Western Power Sports Oval Turn Signals. Am I correct?

Thanks for the comments I'll have more pictures in short order. Is there a "post pictures of your bike(s)" thread already in this subforum?

Yeah, those are the Western powersports turn signals. And the brake light is one of the cheap universal ones here. It's not the most rugged light I've seen but after giving it some waterproofing it should hold up fine.

Thanks also spud, for the link to oemcycle. They were one of the only places that would ship down here. So I ordered a pile of parts from them in return. Should be out putting on the new unbent handlebar and grips right now.

You're welcome, Obso. I also like doing business with OEMCyle.

We like to see people post photos of their rides in our Rides Report Forum; that's a nice place to view photos of your Zong in it's native habitat. We also like to see photos of bike modifications, maintenance, improvements, et cetera, in the Dual Sport Forum. Choose whatever forum seems appropriate to you; we aren't too fussy around here. Rarely we will move a thread if we think it will get more exposure, and responses, in another forum, but it's not a big deal.

I bet your bike is AWESOME in your home environment. I assume most roads have speed limits less than 55MPH?
