The TT Special bikes will probably be arriving before springtime next year.

Ssr xf-250
The SSR XF-250 is a great looking bike but I'm told here in the people's republic of Illinois you can't get one titled and registered for street use . . . What's funny is I started out wanting a great inexpensive dual sport and while doing my research on it is how I came across the RX3. . Now I'm anxious to hear/see more on the TT.

X2. I'm curious to learn the actual displacement.
I wanted to be wrong. I was hoping that parts existed to make a CG-based air cooled 250.

The TT has to be below $2,000.00 or they won't sell any. Too many other choices out there well below $2,000.00. But at this point its just guessing. Heck it could be a $500.00 motorcycle, maybe CSC is getting a great deal on them.

What do you think about the pricing now?

What do you think of the pricing of the TT250 now that it has been announced by CSC? Do you think they'll sell well at $2495.00? (The regular price, not introductory) |

I like the TT and was all ready to get one but 2495 plus shipping puts it right into the Suzuki DR200 price range. Even at the don't miss the boat sale price with the 700 extra for assembly and shipping its too close to the Suzuki. Dr200s are easy to find for around 3000-3500 new or 2000-2500 with low mileage.

Sweet! An upgraded Hawk with all the best features, Zong-made fit 'n finish, and CSC support. Around $2k should be a winner.
Wonder what sprockets they'll come with out-of-the-box. Cheers!

This does look really nice and the Hondanoid motors have certainly proven themselves as extremely durable. I really do hope that they don't price it up with the SSR bikes. The SSR bikes have really jumped a lot of $$$ since they were marketed as Q Links and Konkers, even for their 200cc.

Can you tell me from which Honda model of bikes did these two engines originate? Thanks for any answers you can provide. It will help me in my future search and purchase a CB. |

The ZS177MM (NC250) engine in the Zongshen RX3 is a new design, which was commissioned from an Italian firm. Of course, this engine is manufactured in Chongqing, by Zongshen. Chinese motorcycles with copies of Honda engines are called Hondoids. Most Chinese motorcycles are Hondoids. The Zongshen Sierra, Zongshen RX3, Qingqi/QLink/Konker, and SSR bikes are exceptions.

Good to Know

Or did Zongshen pay an Italian design company to design and develop a modern engine for the current RX3 bike? How many years do you think Zongshen has been building and utilizing this engine? |
