I broke the front plastic hook on the gas tank plastic. Its not bad yet, but I'm sure the wiggle will get on my nerves eventually.

You have 2018 Storm 250 plastic?

I done that the first time I removed the tank. Forgot to remove the bolt from the bracket.

JB Plastic weld works great. It's been over 2 and a half years and still holding up.

If it is ABS plastic you could use a dab of acetone which will melt the plastic and fuse it together once it dries. Be careful though, you don't want to get the acetone on any plastic part that you don't want marred up. You might test it on the back of one of your panels first to see if it will soften the outer layer of plastic, if it does work it will fuse better than any other plastic bonding solution out there.

its Polypropelene plastic. I've mended mine extremely well with a soldering iron and melting it together...

Harbor Freight carries a cheap plastic welder (basically a soldering iron with a flat tip) and rods for PP, ABS and PVC.

i broke that tab off almost right away.

3m 2way tape that to the gas tank,, make use its the grey removeable stuff not the white foam stuff.. works well and comes off when you need it to.
