You could have driven to Beaufort. They have taps up to M25 that no one there knows how to use. But yeah, whenever I needed a real HS tap, it was drive to Savannah or wait 3 days for a better HS tap from Mcmaster.

Bought a metal tank. It showed up. It's not BSA Nutley Blue, nor is it BSA Ivory. So....I bought the correct paint. I'll redo it myself F-em'.....

I must admit, the fiberglass tank weighs NOTHING....but can't do our crap fuel here. I always thought these Brit bikes were heavy, just due to age and technology. It's amazing, for a 1967 how unbelievably light the bike is. It's like pushing a bicycle up onto my lift. I'll have to take it to our local dump and weigh it on their scale. I'd bet it weighs less than my DRZ.

A whole bunch of stuff at Menard's annual "If it fits in the bag, it's 15% off. Even clearance stuff" sale. Mini bench grinder, hacksaw blades, canning lids, baggies, 60 psi back mount gauge, peg board, angle stock, wood screws.

The angle stock and peg board didn't fit in the bag but everything else did.

Cheese curds, smoked string cheese, frozen hash browns, Jay's, and spicy soy sauce at Woodman's.

Found an old pair of Ridell roller skates at ReStore for $10. I got them for the wheels and trucks. Kind of wish the boots fit me, they're really nice. This was a high buck pair of skates when they were new.

I got this for my main motorcycle. But this electric mini bike can also benefit from it. None of my local brick and mortar stores carry this, I can buy it in other cities in stores just not in my city.

I think I did okay with the value of the Riedell skates. The barely used 62mm Sure Grip +Plus wheels retail for $155, less the bearings. The Sunlite trucks and plates go for $90. The boots, which I'm having a problem identifying, could be the $400 boots or the $800 boots.

Somebody took their skating very seriously.

You got the plan! I'm a fool for chips and dip.

It's been doing nothing but storming here so I bought WAY too much online. New shoes, oil lines for the BSA, LED floor lamp for the shop, and more crap for Mrs. 2LZ office. I've named her home office "The Chunnel". It's way over-budget, and way behind schedule.

If you're looking for behind schedule and over budget names, I'd like to add, in no particular order, O'hare ATS. Honolulu Rapid Transit System. Tren Maya. Artemis. Beaufort. The Diesel Project.

Yah, but The Chunnel is easier and rolls off the lips. It's what we used to call our daughter's bedroom. "Go clean yer room!". It was way behind schedule, and way over emotional budget!

More wheel weights for my tire balancer. I've already gone through most of the 0.75 and 1.0 Gram hammer on weights. I also got some black stick on weights for the rims on my little sisters car. She has black rims, and the inner lip is hammer on, but the outer location is only stick-on. The rim doesn't have a lip on the outside, so no hammer-on weights for her! It's amazing how expensive those chunks of metal are...
