Where are you located? There might be some one here interested if they were close enough.

Had a nice orange '13 Denali XT200 (same as TMEC 200) sell locally here recently. Seller was asking $1400. I offered $1000. He didn't bite. Dropped off CL a few weeks later. I'm guessing it probably sold for a little more than I offered.

Good luck with your sale.
Cheers!

I'm located in Medford, NY. Long Island. I was asking $1500, but that included both sets of Tires/Rims as well. Bike only has 130 miles on it so it's practically brand new. Shit, I don't even think the engine has broken in yet.

hey wilsoncat, i had emailed you earlier from your craigslist advert which led me to this forum. thanks for the reference by the way! plenty of great info on here, now ive done my fair bit of research on a few different chinabikes, so how would you review this one? other than not having all the power that you would want from it, what were some pros and cons?

Hello Hooligan, and welcome to the forum. The people here are great and extremely helpful. Our resident TMEC expert culcune could probably answer these questions better than I as he's been riding a TMEC for many years. He's actually bought two of them and uses it as his daily commuter bike.

It's not about the power of the bike, it pulls me fine (5'10" 205lbs). I just want a cruiser and have had my eye on one for a while now. The TMEC was a great stepping stone to get me back into motorcycles again and is as reliable as any bike so long as you take care to always check over the basics. Make sure the nuts and bolts are tight, change the oil regularly and don't beat the piss out of them.

Alright I'll check him out, thanks. Depending on my financial situation, i may contact you inquiring about your bike. If its still available in a week or so, you will hear from me. Thanks again!

Welcome, Hooligan! Great screen name, BTW.

I'd jump on a TMEC, based on all of the good things I've read here, and because of my personal experience with China bikes. That said, don't buy a China bike and expect to just put gas and oil in it; these machines require a sense of humour, and a willingness to wrench and tweak.

Once properly set up, they can be terrific bikes that will bring smiles for a long time. As well, this is a terrific community.

Sold the bike this past Friday to new member Hooligan. Good people. I am glad he will continue to be a member of this site as well as I. Picked up my new bike on Saturday, a 2006 Suzuki C50 cruiser.

Very different ride from the TMEC but it's what I wanted moving forward. I want to thank everyone here for all the great information on China bikes, it was an excellent way for me to get back into riding by saving a lot of money.

Still got the off-road rims and tires in the Classified section for anyone with the TMEC that is interested.

I really like the Boulevard bikes; the flat floorboards and forward controls are perfect. I bet it feels a lot like riding a Fatboy, but without the spine pounding.

Wow... very nice Zuk! That's quite a change from the TMEC!

Cheers!

Indeed, that is good looking motorcycle. I agree with Ripcuda; it is certainly quite a change from a dual sport bike.

Yeah...I am absolutely loving it. Got it registered and inspected today. Changed the oil, topped off coolant and checked the final drive oil. She's ready to ride.

It is indeed a change from the dual sport. I thought that was what I wanted but this is more of what I was looking for in a motorcycle. Kick back and cruise. Don't get me wrong, that RX3 was SCREAMING my name...very cool bike. Ill be sticking around for sure to see where that line goes.

I feel the same way. The RX3 isn't available in Canada yet, so I have to live vicariously through others here.
