Hawk 250 Ignition/key wire

Hello. I own a 2020 Hawk Dlx 250 Efi. I just purchased a Bluetooth radio from Amazon. I've had same radio before but always just hooked up to a toggle switch. (On my other motorcycles). The radio has a wire for ignition, so that it only comes on when the key is on. My question is, does anyone know exactly which wire is the ignition wire? I'm assuming it's in the cluster of wires behind the headlight? Any help is appreciated.

I'm not sure if the wiring for the DLX is the same as the Carb model but I suspect it would be. I took a quick look at the wiring diagram and it looks to me that you're looking for the black wire coming out of the ignition....easy enough to tell with a test light. Turn the ignition on and test that pin with a test light.

I tried to attach the wiring diagram for you but this forum has a ridiculously small file size limit.

If I get a chance tomorrow I'll host it on my website and add a link here

I thought the 2020 DLX came with a blue tooth speaker? Mine did and it's already wired for plug n play behind the headlight.

I got the speaker hooked up. I wasn't aware of there being or recall seeing a spot to plug the wire harness in. But I just spliced into the black wire coming out of the ignition, and negative to the battery. I saw ones (hawk) that came with this speaker, but mine didn't come with it. I would post a pic but this thread has too small of file size limit. Thanks for the help. Also yes there is a wire diagram in the owners manual.

Glad you got it all hooked up! Using black as a "hot" wire throws me every time, I'm constantly wanting all the black wires to be ground.
