2006 Vento 200c Parts?

I recently purchased this bike. I am happy with it so far although it has randomly stalled on me a few times. I know the intake manifold needs to replaced there was a crack in it which I epoxied but not sure how well or how long it will work. I need to find some front brake pads and a couple of the plastic ferrings for the bike. Anyone with some helpful info on parts location or bike that cross references with it wold be great. I would also like to replace the headlight with a brighter one as the low beam does basically nothing. Thanks in advance for the help.

could you post some pics? that would help to identify your bike and allow us to help source parts. A quick google search yielded this, which looks a lot like a zong.

Please do post some photographs of your bike so we can identify it.

The photos are a bit difficult to view, but I believe you own a Zongshen 200GY-2. I own the same motorcycle.

You might enjoy reading the threads in the "Zong Sticky," located at the top of the Dual Sport Forum.

You can buy the parts you need from either Zongshen America, or directly from the Taobao website in China.

Intake manifold

Bike runs fine with pod filter but it caused a problem with the already split intake manifold. I have since secured it so it doesn't vibrate so much. I need to locate another manifold any ideas on where to look?

You can get a carburetor intake manifold from Zongshen America, or Taobao. If you prefer, you can also get another air box.

Thumbs Up TaoBao

I tried the taobao website but it is in Chinese and I can't read it. There were some agents but I don't trust that and I still have no way of ordering. I also tried the Zongshen America site but found no parts. I did email zonshen this afternoon. Thanks your help. I did find some parts for the tw200 that look like they match up.

I use the Google Chrome web browser, and it will translate Chinese to English. The TBTrends agent is reliable, helpful, and honest. Several members here, including myself, have been satisfied customers of TBTrends.

Indeed, you need to contact Zongshen America by telephone or email; you won't find any parts listed on its website. If you live near Miami, I encourage you to visit the Zongshen America headquarters; you will get much better service in person.

This bike is the same as the 200GY-2. Qlink and Vento, as well as Zongshen, sold the same bike back in '05 or '06.

If you have the standard rubber intake i found wrapping it with electrical tape is a good temporary fix, i wouldnt advise it as a permanant fix, but it solved my idle issues and stalling issues for now... Just a hought...LOL its a cheap and easy fix...

Thanks guys

SO glad I found your site, lots of helpful people and info. I live 2.5 hours North of Miami and may go take a look at the plant. I'm looking for some of the plastics covers if anyone has any they want to sell.
