New guy, thinking about a Tha Heist

Hey folks, I am thinking about a Tha Heist and the only I guy I know who has an opinion about motorcycles sent me here. I hope to have a little hobby bike.

I live in Vancouver so riding would be a fairweather experiance so I hope to have the time to tinker on whatever I decide on.

Welcome. Is that one of the Cleveland Cycle Werks products? I believe that they are alittle more premium in the China bike market.

Welcome!

I think they're neat bikes; where did you see one? I've found them at Adventure West in Langley: http://www.adventurewest.net/ The shop is owned by a gentleman named Phil, and it's a one-man show. Worth checking out.

The engine is based on the pushrod Honda CG125, but bored 'n stroked to either 223 or 230 (can't remember which). It's a very reliable motor, with decent torque around town. It is not a freeway bike.

Apparently the website is having problems, Weld. Hopefully the problems will be fixed, and the image will re-appear.

I can see it now. My good friend Phil runs a nice little shop. I should stop in and see him soon.
