New Bashan 200 owner
Hi to all of you China bikers. Recently got a Bashan 200, never heard of this brand but it's really a Lifan gy200. Not done much mileage yet, around 300 miles, basically learning to ride again lol. Does anyone on here come from my area? Loving all the information on here, I am not very mobile but can manage simple jobs so finding it very helpful to get an insight into this bike. Sorry guys, rambling on 4 degrees C here think I have brain freeze after 25 miles

Nice bike!! But I concur, it will run much better with some dirt on it!! That is a little fuel tank, good thing these things get like 80 mpg. I'll bet a Hawk, Storm, Brozz, Enforcer, etc tank will fit right on that thing. Thanks for the nice pics

Nice bike! A lot in common with my older Kinroad XT200GY.
Do you have the plastic tank shroud? I took my plastics off and run a bare black tank like you have. And it is a small tank! Wonder if your seat feels like sitting on a piece of lumber too?! Cheers!

Hi, yes I have the tank shroud, removed to do the valves and not yet put it back on. Oddly enough the seat is pretty comfortable although I don't ride long distance, at least not yet. Fuel tank is too small, agreed. I carry a litre bottle with me as although it has a reserve position on the fuel tap, there is no reserve. Live and learn the idiosyncrasies of Chinese bikes lol.

Here in the US, the importers/manufacturers have been offering 3 gallon/12 liter (not sure how that translates to your Imperial gallon) sizes on many of the dual-sport models. Not sure if you have that size available on some of your country's bikes, and if they are widely available as spares. Come to think of it, the TMEC 125 enduro should have a 3 gallon tank if you can find one of those bikes parted out. However, will it fit? is another issue.

Fuego or Motorhead
Not too concerned about the tank size, the UK is a LOT smaller than the USA lol, would be very unlucky to not be able to get fuel within twenty miles. Can I ask, does anyone have experience with the Fuego or Motorhead brand. On social media and own website, making some interesting looking bikes and the CEO is a lady who seems to be approaching the business in more of a westernised model.

You are at the right place at the right time...member Englishman in China not only has an online magazine (mostly) about the Chinese motorsports industry, and had just posted the latest issue, but he is, if I am not mistaken, married to that CEO (read the attached thread and the magazine and notice all the motorhead/fuego ads, LOL). The bonus; he is British so you speak the same language
http://chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=18251 Edit-- sorry, he goes by his name, David McMullan, on chinariders; on mychinamoto.com he is Englishman in China
