NEW bike! big bore two stroke

I have decided to try running a two stroke for the cooler running temps, lighter weight, and more power benefits.
I picked up a 2001 KTM380EXC in mint condition for $2000 to hopefully replace my 450 as my commuter and trail bike, the original lights were included with it.

Oh man, that sounds like fun! You're definitely going to need the heavier front wheel option now.

I went for a couple rides the past few days, this is by far my favorite bike, So much lighter, and way lower center of gravity compared to the 450, with plenty of low end power equal to if not better than the 450 and has insane topend power, if the rear tire will hookup anyways . Im going to put a trials tire on it soon and see what that does for it, I feel like the half worn out tire that's on it right now isn't going to last very long.

I shred tires on my 400 and that bike will eat my bike's lunch. Tires will not last.

Trials tires seem like a contradiction.

Pirelli MT43 are the best for non trials use..
little bit harder compound...
Dunlops/Michens you will shread in no time...

Mitas ET01 might also work..the trials guy say
they are to hard for trials...

Or yer could get a Maico 700... YES a 700cc 2 stroke..
It don't matter what yer put on....It an't going to last...

Ive got a mt 43 sitting right next to me. A 700cc two stroke would be a blast to ride i bet.
